Episcopal Church awards key mixed-use project to …

​​AUSTIN – Cielo Property Group has been chosen by the Episcopal Church as a partner in creating a mixed-use project on Block 87 downtown.

Offices, shops and either apartments or condos could potentially find their way onto the block.

A 67,000-sf archive facility for the church will also be incorporated as part of the design.

The site is a surface parking lot now between the St. David’s Episcopal Church and two homeless shelters.

It is bounded by Seventh St. on the south, and Eighth St. on the north, Trinity St. on the west and Neches St. on the east.
