Plano, Arlington top healthy U.S. housing list

​​DALLAS – SmartAsset ranked Plano and Arlington as the two healthiest home markets in a nationwide comparison.

Grand Prairie and Irving also made the top ten, ranking sixth and eighth, respectively.

The ranking was based on big-city housing markets that provide the most stability, affordability, fluidity, and lowest risk of loss.

Rounding out the top ten were:

• Grand Rapids, Mich. (third); 
• Pittsburgh (fourth);
• Fremont, Calif. (fifth);
• Vancouver, Wash. (seventh);​
• Denver (ninth); and 
• Huntington Beach, Calif. (tenth).​
