HOUSTON, McKINNEY – Whitestone REIT has closed on the purchase of two retail properties—Eldorado Plaza and BLVD Place.
BLVD Place and an adjacent developable land parcel, located at 1800 Post Oak Blvd. in Houston, was purchased for $158 million in cash. At the time of the sale, BLVD Places was 99 percent leased.
BLVD Place currently provides 216,944 sf of leasable space, and has 136,930 sf of developable space.
Eldorado Plaza, located along Craig Dr. in McKinney, was purchased for $46.6 million in cash. At the time is was 97 percent leased.
Eldorado Plaza currently provides 221,577 sf of leasable space, and has 24,000 sf of developable space.
The average household income within five miles of the McKinney shopping center is $124,000, according to Whitestone REIT.
