​​ALEDO – Republic Property Group has opened ​Walsh, a new 7,200-acre housing development​ west of Fort Worth.​

The development at the intersection of I-30 and I-20 off Walsh Ranch Pkwy. will bring about 15,000 homes and 50,000 people to the area.

The initial 587 home sites range from 3,850 ​sf to just shy of an acre.

Homebuilders include David Weekley Homes, Dree Homes, Highland Homes, Toll Brothers, and Village Homes. Developers recently announced that HGC Residential Development will also be joining other homebuilders for the neighborhood’s initial phase. Homes from HGC at Walsh will start at $450,000. ​

Walsh is zoned for the Aledo Independent School District.
