​​​​COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents​ unanimously approved nine construction projects totaling $334 million from around the A&M System.

Projects include: 

  • Headquarters for the Texas A&M Transportation Institute at the RELLIS Campus near Bryan ($62.5 million in funding for the $70 million project, which will begin construction next month);
  • Education complex for Texas A&M-Kingsville ($54.95 million);
  • Academic and Student Service Building for Texas A&M-Texarkana ($28.8 million); 
  • Energy consumption reduction project at Prairie View A&M ($15.3 million);
  • Energy conservation project for Texas A&M-Commerce ($9.05 million); and 
  • Dentistry Clinical Education Facility in Dallas for the Texas A&M Health Science Center ($114.75​ million).

Two projects are planned for West Texas A&M University. A second project for Prairie View A&M was also approved.
