ODESSA – Dallas-based hotel development firm Gatehouse Capital Corp has begun construction on a new $79 million Marriott Hotel and conference center in West Texas.
The public-private partnership with the City of Odessa and Eofficial Enterprises will bring a seven-story, 218-room Marriott Hotel with a 67,500-sf conference center, parking garage and a Starbucks coffee shop to this part of the region.Sondra and Toby Eoff of Eofficial Enterprises will invest $48 million in the development. The City of Odessa plans on spending $31.6 million in the conference center hotel.
Construction is slated for completion in fall 2018.
