ALPINE, BREWSTER COUNTY – The City of Houston has announced the completion of the SolaireHolman solar project, a 50-megawatt solar facility.
SolaireHolman includes 203,840 solar panels on 360 acres.
The solar facility is dedicated to provide up to 10.5 percent of Houston’s electricity needs.
Locations powered by the new facility includes the Hermann Park Zoo, the Bob Lanier Public Works Building, waste water treatment plants, and several Bush Intercontinental Airport terminals.
