AUSTIN – Some very prominent names in Austin's culinary world are joining forces on the city's first food hall, which will sit at the base of one of its most prominent skyscrapers downtown.
Fareground will be loaded with six restaurants and stores spanning tastes from artisanal cheese to ramen.
Vendors include: Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden, Antonelli's Cheese Shop, Contigo Fareground, Dai Due Taquería, Henbit & Honeybit and Ni-Kome.
Fareground is scheduled to be finished in fall 2017and is part of a major facelift at 111 Congress Ave.
It will be Austin's first food hall, a definite trend in the nation's culinary sector that brings together many diverse offerings under one roof.
