The 2017 List tracks one year of activity from 1Q 2016 through 4Q 2016​ and highlights neighborhoods that grew​ the fastest in 2016. 

Information is complied in partnership with Metrostudy Inc. and is ranked by housing starts. ​​

The area encompasses the five-county Austin area including Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties.
