​​​​SAN ANTONIO – ​Port San Antonio has started work on Project Tech, a state-of-the-art technology complex that will house firms supporting the area's growing cybersecurity community.

​​Project Tech, which could total more than 500,000 sf across 17 acres, kicked off with a 90,000-sf facility. The $20 million building is expected to deliver in 2018.

​The development's first phase, which is close to the 24th Air Force/149th Fighter Wing Building 171, was designed by Beaty Palmer Architects and is being built​ by SpawGlass. Peloton Commercial Real Estate will handle marketing.
