GALVESTON – The University of Texas Medical Branch broke ground today on its Health Education Center at 11th and Mechanic Streets.
The 160,000-sf facility will open in 2019.
UTMB said the center will have simulation classroom spaces "enabling future generations of health care professionals to learn in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment."
