KATY – Amazon.com Inc. plans to open its tenth Texas fulfillment center since launching operations in the state in 2013.
The facility will be the company’s second in the Houston area. Amazon will employ 1,000 full-time workers at the site.
Employees at the one million-sf fulfillment center will pick, pack, and ship large customer items such as music equipment, sports gear, and electronics.
