RICHARDSON – An Irving-based apartment developer has closed on the financing for a 456-home luxury apartment community in Richardson’s Telecom Corridor. 
The community, called Jefferson Woods, is underway by Irving-based JPI near North Central Expressway and Glenville Dr. and expects to begin delivering units in summer 2018.
The property’s location adjacent to Spring Creek Nature Area and the CityLine development in Richardson will attract a number of residents wanting to live near a work environment with amenities, said Matt Brendel, senior vice president and development partner at JPI.
JPI plans to put some luxury finishes in the apartment homes and bring a Class A apartment community to this part of the region.
