Construction value only is $16 million. Discount Tire is planning the more than 700,000-sf facility on an almost 53-acre site south of I-20.
The big warehouse is expected to replace a smaller facility in Grand Prairie, a Discount Tire spokesman said.
"If all things follow expected development timelines, the Dallas facility would open in fourth quarter 2018," said the spokesman.
Quaker Oats Foods, BMW, Hyundai and Amazon all have major warehouses in the area. | Dallas Morning News
