Wildlife parks on the map

That was how David Keene summed up a ceremonious unveiling of two newly updated Great Texas Wildlife Trail maps at Bonham State Park​.

According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, the updated Prairies and Pineywoods East and West maps mark the completion of the entire Great Texas Wildlife Trail maps collection, displaying more than 920 wildlife—viewing sites all across Texas.​

Of particular interest was the addition of Bois d’Arc Loop to the Prairies and Pineywoods East map because it references local treasures such as Bonham State Park, Lake Fannin, Caddo National Grasslands and Lake Bonham.
