SHERMAN – The Emerson Process Management facility will soon be hiring 30 new employees and bringing in $500,000 in new equipment.

Because of that investment, the Sherman Economic Development Corp.’s (SEDCO) board of directors recently approved a $150,000 grant for the company.

SEDCO President John Plotnik said the $150,000 grant will be awarded in three $50,000 payments for 30 new jobs to be created between Sept. 30 and March 31, 2018.
Anderson said Emerson will be working with Workforce Solutions Texoma and Manpower on filling those positions.
