​​​​ALLEN – Adolfson & Peterson Construction broke ground on a $47 million build-to-suit project for the world’s largest manufacturer of law enforcement video systems, WatchGuard Video. 

WatchGuard will relocate about three miles north of its current offices to new corporate headquarters on Exchange Pkwy. and Andrews Pkwy. in Allen.
The first of the two project phases will deliver first quarter 2018. A two-story, 140,000-sf building costing $37 million comprises Phase 1. 
An additional 60,000 sf will be completed in 2022 for the $10 million Phase 2. 
​The original structure will host a manufacturing facility and demonstration room on the first floor. The second floor will consist of offices and conference rooms.
The building will also have a gym, a racquetball court, an engineering laboratory and a training center. At completion, the project will house 700 employees.
