ALLEN – Two new office projects have landed in Allen near Dallas.
WatchGuard Video broke ground on its $47 million corporate headquarters.
The 140,000-sf project will be built on the east side of US 75 on Allen Station Pkwy.
WatchGuard Video is a major producer of police body cameras and has tripled in size in the last five years.
Its Allen headquarters will open in early 2018.
The company expects to move 280–300 employees to Allen around that time, according to a previous article in Community Impact.
Also underway is a 125,000-sf speculative office project in the Watters Creek development at Bethany Dr. and US Hwy. 75.
The five-story building is being constructed on the west side of US 75, just north of the Watters Creek shopping and apartment complex.
Called One Bethany, the project is expected open in early 2018. The new office building will include a conference center, training room, tenant lounge and fitness center.
