SAN ANTONIO – Work has begun on a new 203-suite hotel as part the nearly 34-acre Landmark Centre.

The 4.6-acre parcel at the southeast corner of the I-10 and Loop 1604 intersection will add another layer to the mix of uses under development around the site.

The future Embassy hotel at 5615 Landmark Pkwy. will be central to the area’s rapidly expanding commercial and entertainment users such as:

  • Six Flags Fiesta Texas
  • Valero Energy Corp.’s corporate headquarters
  • The University of Texas at San Antonio
  • The Shops at La Cantera
  • Top Golf
  • The Rim power center

Construction is expected to take 18 months, with the hotel scheduled for delivery by summer 2018.

Once complete, the new property will have a full-service restaurant on the ground floor, a state-of-the-art fitness center for tenants and walking paths around the building.

The hotel, which will be built and managed by Zachry Hospitality, will be a part of the larger footprint for Fulcrum Development’s nearly 34-acre Landmark Centre.
