HOUSTON – The former Texaco building has been rebranded as The Star, a 286-unit luxury multifamily complex.
The 410,000-sf property was built in 1915, but has been vacant since 1989.
The skyscraper, located at 1111 Rusk St., has been a historic landmark in Houston since its completion.
The newly opened space offers units ranging from 730 to 1,730 sf with 21,000 sf of street-front retail.
A nine-story parking garage will also be available to residents, offering 685 controlled access parking spaces, a second valet point and bike storage.
The first resident move-ins began late Jan. 2017.
