BEAUMONT – The building with the circular facade where Calder Ave. and Phelan Blvd. diverges has a new owner.
Mobiloil Credit Union announced the purchase of the property at 3535 Calder Ave.
The company will renovate the first floor of the building to include department offices and a credit union branch. Those improvements are exacted to be completed late this year or in early 2018.
Mobiloil Credit Union was established in 1935 and serves more than 48,000 members in Jefferson, Hardin, Orange, Newton, Jasper, Chambers, Liberty and Tyler counties.
