​​​​WILMER – A 1.1 million-sf Class A distribution hub has been completed in southern Dallas County, which is the initial phase of the $500 million, 531-acre Southport Logistics Park.

The park sits in the inland port area of southern Dallas County in Wilmer, which is ten miles south of downtown Dallas along I-45. 

The initial phase of Southport Logistics Park also includes $22 million in infrastructure projects and a total of five buildings totaling more than 3.8 million sf. 

Port Logistics Royalty is under construction on the second building, a 400,000-sf e-commerce facility that's slated for completion in the second quarter of 2017.

Upon completion, the multiphase logistics park will total 9 million sf of e-commerce and industrial space and will consist of nine buildings ranging in size from 400,000 sf to 1.5 million sf.
