FRISCO – The 175-acre Wade Park, along the Dallas North Tollway, is a major part of the ambitious $5 Billion Mile economic development program, totaling some 550 acres of office, retail, residential and hospitality development, all of which is expected to generate more than 70,000 new jobs in the next few years.
The Wade Park development encompasses $2 billion of the $5 billion in total developments.
Frisco Station, The Gate and The Star, the Cowboys headquarters, account for the remaining $5 billion-plus in investments.
The complete development will comprise 1 million sf of retail space, up to 6 million sf of office space, 2,800 luxury apartments and two hotels.
A total of 600,000 sf of specialty retail includes national fashion retailers along with restaurants all in a village format. This retail space mingles with office space, in both over-retail and office tower formats.
There are 1,300 apartment units—some over-retail and others in dense-wrap style condominiums and 127 single-family homes.
