​​​​MIDLAND COUNTY – The number of available houses in Midland County dropped to its lowest level since July 2015, according to the December report from the Permian Basin Board of Realtors (PBBOR).

The number of homes on the market fell to 481.
It was the first time in 17 months that available houses dropped below 500 and was quite a reversal from July 2016 when the number of homes reached a year high of 630.

Average number of houses on market in December

2012: 264

2013: 327

2014: 387

2015: 517

2016: 481​

Average sold price in December

2012: $235,897

2013: $265,248

2014: $277,656

2015: $275,844

2016: $281,148
