​​FORNEY –​​ The 920-acre Devonshire development has changed ownership for the second time in three years.

​Haynes Development Co. and Avanti Properties Group purchased the 35 percent-completed community, which includes lots and land to build over 1,500 more homes. 

The seller, Wheeloc​k Street Capital, purchased the property in 2014. 

Devonshire was started in 2008 and has homes priced from the $200,000s to the $400,000s. When finished, there will be more than 3,000 homes.

Builders include Beazer Homes, Gehan Homes, Pulte Homes, Highland Homes, and Bloomfield Homes.

HFF marketed the property for sale.
