EL PASO – The new $15.7 million Topgolf facility is getting out of the ‘rough’ and ‘teeing off’ in West El Paso.
The three-story, 65,000-sf high-tech golf driving range will be on eight acres with 102 climate-controlled golf hitting bays and about 3,000 sf of private event space.
The facility—in the Montecillo Smart Growth Community—is located at the intersection of Mesa St. and I-10 facing the interstate.
Texas Department of Transportation will also be building a new interstate gateway for easier access to the Topgolf site.
The City of El Paso will fund $5.2 million in tax rebates over 22 years to help pay for the facility if the company meets all the requirements of the agreement.
The El Paso facility will employ about 500 people when it is completed in about ten months.
