I-35 hotel trades hands

​​AUSTIN – The Baymont Inn & Suites at 4323 I-35 S. has been sold by LMR LLC to New York City-based Travis Walk​​ Associates LLC.

The 100-room hotel with a separate restaurant​ will close for nine months for a major renovation. It will also be rebranded.

Hotel Brokers of Austin handled the transaction for both parties.

The hotel sold for more than the listed price of $5.2 million.
