​UNIVERSAL CITY – ​​In a joint venture with an investment client, Los Angeles-based Lowe Enterprises Investors (LEI) has acquired the 208-unit Sunrise Canyon apartments.

Built in 2005 at 501 Sunrise Canyon Dr., the 178,600-sf gated community features one-, two-, and three-bedroom units across nine buildings. 

The new owners are planning renovations to the clubhouse and pool.

LEI represented the buyer, while CBRE represented the seller, KKR. United Apartment Group will manage the community. Berkadia provided acquisition financing.
