KILLEEN – Officials with Texas A&M University-Central Texas have broken ground on its third building, Heritage Hall.

The $36 million, 60,000-sf building will house the university’s College of Arts and Sciences.
Heritage Hall will include
  • new teaching laboratories
  • the first research laboratory
  • a human performance laboratory
  • Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC)
  • University Archival space, to include special storage and reading rooms
  • The College of Arts and Sciences
  • A state-of-the-art computer assisted classroom
  • Space for student organizations
  • conference and seminar rooms
  • small coffee shop
  • additional student gathering spaces
Construction is scheduled to take about 18 months.
