HOUSTON – Trendmaker Homes, a subsidiary of TRI Pointe Group, plans to launch a luxury residential community on 225.4 acres at the northwest corner of Clay and Pitts roads in Waller County.
The local developer has submitted a preliminary land plan to the city for the community, which is called Lake House.
In the first two sections of Lake House, Trendmaker will develop a 25.7-acre detention lake as well as 183 home sites on 102.1 acres. The large home lots will span 60-, 70-, and 90-feet by 160 feet. The plans go before the planning commission Dec. 15.
Students in Lake House will be zoned to the Katy Independent School District.
