DALLAS – In the two years since the lifting of Wright amendment restrictions at Love Field, the Dallas airport has been transformed.

Passenger traffic across the region is up, fares are down, and there’s more head-to-head competition.

Now travelers out of Love Field can reach 50 destinations in 29 states on nonstop flights.

DFW International Airport fares have dropped faster than the national average due to competition from Love Field.

Traffic at Love Field is up 6.7 percent in third quarter 2016 compared with the previous year.
