$3.5M Academy to double store size through relocation

​​​​​COLLEGE STATION – Academy Sports + Outdoors​​ is relocating its College Station store south. 

At 72,000 sf, the new location at Texas Hwy. 6 and Northrop Grumman Rd., will be more than twic​​e as large as the store at 2351 Earl Rudder Fwy. 

Cost of construction only is $3.5 million, according to TDLR.

The store will be constructed as part of the redevelopment of the 54-acre Providence Park at Research Valley. ​
