Third-largest shopping center in Texas opens: Baybrook Mall

​FRIENDSWOOD – The third-largest shopping center in Texas is almost fully leased following the completion of its massive expansion project.

In total, the Baybrook Mall​ now blankets 1.8 million sf following an expansion that added about 555,000 sf. ​

Baybrook Mall‘s outdoor lifestyle center is about 95 percent leased, and its recently completed power center is about 90 percent leased, said Scott Sutherland, vice president of asset management with mall owner General Growth Properties. 

A lease hasn’t been signed for the power center’s last 25,000-sf space, which is wedged between a future Dick’s property and a Total Wine & More. ​​
