​​​​​AUSTIN – Texas cities, counties, transit systems, and special purpose taxing districts will receive $737.9 million in local sales tax allocations for November, 0.8 percent more than a year ago at this time.

These allocations are based on sales made in September by businesses that report tax monthly, and sales made in July, August, and September by quarterly filers.

"The cities of San Antonio, Fort Worth, and​​ Plano saw noticeable increases in sales tax allocations," said Comptroller Glenn Hegar. "The cities of Houston and Midland saw significant decreases in sales tax allocations."
