​​SAN ANTONIO – Atlanta-based real estate developer The RADCO Cos. has acquired the 153,370-sf​ Mesa Ridge from Bluerock Real Estate.

Mesa Ridge is a 200-unit multifamily complex completed in 1984 on a 7.9-acre site minutes from the headquarters campus of financial services company USAA, the South Texas Medical Center campus and I-10 at 4900 USAA Blvd.

The community is comprised of one- and two-bedroom units—averaging 736 sf—in 13 garden-style buildings. 

RADCO has disclosed plans to spend more than $2.9 million on capital improvements to Mesa Ridge, including a rebranding of the community to City Crest.
