CONVERSE, BEXAR COUNTY – The previously untapped plat of land at the intersection of FM 1976 and Cimarron Trail is to become a bustling Converse Business Center and Industrial Flex complex.

“It’s a great opportunity to get an edge on location and transportation in and out of the area. It’s on FM 1976, with a link to Loop 1604, and direct access to Interstates 10 and 35 in either direction,” said Kate Silvas, executive director of the Converse Economic Development Corp.

Work is expected begin on the I-1-zoned area in early 2017.

The 3.7-acre spread is attractive to firms looking to the area for inexpensive operating costs and direct transportation outlets.

Phase One of the two-phase development will house five buildings providing a total of 42,950 sf of lease space.
