​​CORPUS CHRISTI – Fort Worth developer G.L. "Buck" Harris has purchased the 35-plus-year-old Sunrise Mall at Airline Rd. and South Padre Island Dr.

Among the 27 tenants of the 700,000-sf mall are Burlington Coat Factory, Sears, Wilcox Furniture, Cinemark Dollar Cinemas, Planet Fitness, and New Life Church.

The mall has been owned by IBC Bank since it went into bankruptcy in 2008.
