CORPUS CHRISTI – The newly reconstructed Lexington Manor Apartments at 5201 Kostoryz Rd. has opened.

The project features 153 apartments and 52 units of Section 8 housing.

It will serve about 150 families who earn at or below the 60 percent area median income.

The apartment complex is one of three projects from Prospera Housing Community Services, formerly Housing and Community Services Inc., to replace aging affordable housing complexes that have reached the end of their life span.
Developers also constructed The Palms at Leopard, which replaced the dilapidated North Side Manor and the Woodland Creek Apartments in Northwest Corpus Christi.
