Governor appoints, reappoints eight to TALCB board
AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has appointed or reappointed eight to the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board and named a new chair.
Clayton Black of Lubbock and James Jeffries of Georgetown were reappointed with terms set to expire Jan. 31, 2017.
Jaime Wickliffe of Midlothian was also reappointed, while Alejandro Sostre-Odio of San Antonio and Joyce Yannuzzi of New Braunfels were appointed. Their terms will expire Jan. 31, 2019. Wickliffe was also named presiding officer of the board.
Chance Bolton of Bee Cave, Tony Peña of Lubbock, and Martha Reid of El Paso were appointed with terms set to expire Jan. 31, 2021.
The board performs duties relating to the education, ethics, and certifying or licensing of real estate appraisers or appraiser trainees.
