HOUSTON – ITW Global Brands, a division of Illinois Tool Works, plans to relocate its headquarters to a fully occupied building in the Energy Corridor.

The company, an automotive products manufacturer, will move into 25,075 sf in January at Park Ten Center—a newly built 150,000-sf building at 16200 Park Ten Blvd.

The company will consolidate its two Houston offices into the Energy Corridor space.

ITW Global Brands leases 12,153 sf at 6925 Portwest Dr. and 11,043 sf at 6801 Portwest Dr.

The company will occupy the first floor of Park Ten Center.

Part of the space will include research and development space that will be visible to onlookers through windows.

The company will bring in cars and conduct tests on consumer car products it manufactures.

ITW will bring in the cars through a large, overhead door that will be installed on the side of the building.

ITW’s lease brings Park Ten Center’s occupancy to 100 percent.

Park Ten Center’s 100 percent occupancy status is no small feat in Houston, let alone the Energy Corridor, which is sitting on nearly a third of the city’s 12 million sf of available sublease space.
