Victoria EDC wins first Elevate Texas Award

​​VICTORIA – The Victoria Economic Development Corporation was presented with​​​​​ the first-ever “Elevate Texas” award by the Texas Economic Development
Corporation.

The new award recognizes communities, organizations, and companies that are making "a tremendous
contribution to Texas’ economy—whether through jobs and investment, infrastructure and workforce
development, innovation and creativity, or other initiatives that help to drive growth in the Lone Star
State," according to a press release issued by Texas EDC.

​“We are thrilled to present Victoria Economic Development Corporation with our inaugural Elevate
Texas award,” said Tracye McDaniel, Texas EDC CEO and president.
“The organization exemplifies the phrase ‘small but mighty’ when it comes to economic development.”​
