HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers of Houston is hosting its annual gala on October 27, and it has a lot to celebrate—mainly its new headquarters.
The building will be the world’s first Crime Stoppers headquarters.
The Dave Ward Crime Stoppers of Houston building, at 3001 Main St. in Midtown, is set to open in December or January. 
The 28,000-sf facility will have three floors.
The first floor is designed as a resource for victims and their families and will also have a media editing room along with a press conference room.
For the first time, Crime Stoppers will have its own space—2,500 sf also on the first floor—to provide community programing.
The second and third floors will be occupied by the Crime Stoppers’ staff and HPD partners working on the tip line.
Outside the building, Crime Stoppers is creating a 12,800-sf Harris County Sheriff’s Officers Memorial Garden—the first of its kind.
