ALLEN – An Allen-based manufacturer of law enforcement video systems plans to develop its own corporate headquarters, which, upon completion, will make room for upwards of 700 employees.

The $46 million, 200,000-sf headquarters was needed to help the fast-growing company continue to meet demand for body cameras and in-car recording systems for law enforcement.
About five years after the initial phase is delivered, the company plans to incorporate another 60,000 sf of space into its new 12-acre corporate home near Exchange and Andrews Pkwy.
Upon completion in 2017, the company plans to move 300 employees into its new digs with plans to add to its workforce in the future.
The company’s new corporate home will feature collaborative rooms for training, an indoor racquetball court, a gym, health clinic and a demonstration room that features WatchGuard’s products through multimedia and interactive technology.
