​FORT WORTH – Dallas-based Encore Multi-Family LLC has bought nearly 2.5 acres on Panther Island for a 300-unit apartment community.

The 233,198-sf community​ is the first private development planned for the $909 million Trinity River Vision project.

Construction is expected to begin in summer 2017 and be finished around a year later. It will be along the first segment of a canal that will run through the interior of the island, at Fourth and Main Streets. ​
