ARLINGTON – The Cordish Companies breaks ground this week on the first phase of Texas Live!, a stadium entertainment district near Globe Life Park and AT&T Stadium.
Phase one of the $250 million Texas Live! will cost $100 million.
The project will include 200,000 sf of dining and entertainment space, a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion, a 300-room full-service convention hotel, and a 35,000-sf meeting and convention facility.
The dining and entertainment portion of the project will open in spring 2018 with the Rangers’ opening day, and the hotel/convention facility will open in fall 2018.
The Rangers have proposed a new $1 billion stadium, contingent on Nov. 8 voter approval of $500 million in public financing.
