Austin allure, hotel revenue increases

​​AUSTIN – The allure of the Texas capital as a tourism and hospitality destination is growing.

Revenue for Austin hotels increased 11 percent in second quarter 2016 compared with the same period in 2015. 

There is also a large amount of hotel construction going on around town that will add more room capacity in the city and further boost its prestige with travelers.
