HOUSTON – Atlanta-based Novare Group Inc. has finished SkyHouse Main, a 24-story, 338-unit luxury apartment tower at 1725 Main St., and the first residents have already moved in.

This is the third SkyHouse-branded project in the region.

SkyHouse Houston sits right next door to SkyHouse Main, which opened in summer 2014. The 24-story, 336-unit tower at 1625 Main St. is now fully leased.

SkyHouse River Oaks is a 25-story, 352-unit residential tower on the site of the former Westcreek at River Oaks apartments near the Galleria. It opened in summer 2015.

The downtown twin projects took advantage of the city's Downtown Living Initiative, a revitalization program that awards downtown developers tax beaks of $15,000 per multifamily unit.

Novare Group developed the project with locally based Peter W. Dienna. Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and NGI Investments LLC provided financing. Batson-Cook Construction was the general contractor, and Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates Inc. was the architect.
