DALLAS – Developers who are working on downtown’s historic Brewery building have filed permits to construct a high-rise apartment project next door.

Provident Realty Advisors plans to construct 313 apartments in the high-rise, which would be constructed adjacent to the Victory Park development on McKinney Ave.
The $63 million project would include a 15-story apartment tower in the parking lot on the west side.
Provident plans to add two floors of office space on top of the existing four-story Brewery building.
There will be a courtyard between the Brewery and the new apartment tower with a parking garage to serve both projects.
The Brewery was constructed in the 1880s as a home for local beer makers and later housed a variety of offices in addition to Newport’s restaurant on the ground floor.
