But it is St. David's Surgical Hospital that opened Oct. 19, 2016 in North Austin.
The new 146,381-sf hospital comes with 40 inpatient rooms, ten operating suites, facilities for pre-operation and post-operation care, a six-bed intensive care unit and imaging, pharmacy, and lab services.
It will employ 130 people full-time.
An 80,000-sf medical office building and a 500-space parking garage also sit on the 8.5-acre site.
Austin-based St. David's Health care opened the facility, five months after buying it for $115 million.
St. David's also spent $20 million to fill its new surgical hospital, near I-35 and the Texas 45 toll road in Williamson County, with furniture and technology.
St. David's Surgical Hospital will have an ER but will focus on non-emergency procedures such as mastectomies and cataract surgery.
