McALLEN, EDINBURG, PHARR - The local retail market contained nearly 19.6 million sf as of fourth quarter 2014, according to Burbach & Associates and CoStar Group. The overall vacancy rate was 6.2 percent in 4Q 2014.

The average total market rental rate was $14.88 per sf, with Greater McAllen showing $15.49 per sf.
